Immigration Law

Besides family law, we also assist you in matters concerning the law on foreigners.

The provisions that govern the residence of foreigners in Germany are quite complex and difficult to understand.

The German law determines that the foreigner has to have a specific reason for his/her residence in Germany, which has to be permitted by law. Nevertheless, the requirements for a residence permit lack clarity.

Therefore, it is our goal to advise and assist you in your personal pursit regarding a residence in Germany

  • with the purpose of a visit („Schengenvisum“),
  • with the purpose of completing a vocational training or studies,
  • with the purpose of working in Germany (employment oder self-employment),
  • with the purpose of getting married in Germany (registration for marriage, certificate of no impediment to
marriage or rather a procedure to relieve you of the duty of representing such a certificate),
  • with the purpose of a family reunion (especially a family reunion for a spouse or a child) out of humanitarian reasons.

We also assist you in dealing with the German burocracy and the German authorities in matters concerning your residence,

  • if you have problems with your visa procedures in the German embassy (supporting your request or remonstration),
  • if you want to apply, extend or change a/your current residence permit,
  • if you have any other problem concerning the law relating to aliens,
  • and if you want to go to court to fight for your right of resicende.

We are looking forward to aid you with our knowledge and experience and to fight for your rights and interests concerning your residence.
